SmartStart incorporates microprocessor technology and is designed to allow power supply operation despite adverse conditions in the treating station – primarily excessive moisture or condensation. It not only allows the power supply to start initially, but gradually increases power in calibrated increments in order to evaporate moisture from the treating station and ultimately allow normal operation.
SmartStart has the programmed intelligence to make adjustments in the output power of the power supply and to monitor whether or not a fault has occurred during operation. If a fault is encountered, the SmartStart system will make corrective iterations until the rated output of the power supply can be achieved. It can be disabled at any time during its operational cycle and control is returned to the operator.
