Products | Corotec Corporation

Corotec Corporation is a leading manufacturer of corona treating equipment and offers a wide range of products for different industries. We provide a large selection of corona treating equipment, including corona systems, ozone generators and eliminators, specialized systems, 3D or plasma treaters, and other items and features.

Our dedication to customer service sets Corotec Corporation apart from other companies. Our team of experts is available to answer any questions about our products or the corona and plasma treating process. We pride ourselves on being a one-stop source for all your corona treatment needs.

The following are the corona treatment systems we provide for a variety of applications:

Narrow Web treaters, typically 30” wide and smaller, are designed for use with thin web materials such as labels, tape, and ribbon. These systems offer many benefits over traditional corona treating equipment, including smaller footprints and lower operating costs.

Wide Web treaters, typically larger than 30”, from Corotec Corporation provide the production process flexibility with our profiled and segmented electrodes, pneumatic lift mechanisms, drawer type electrodes for easy maintenance, and unique jump feature for splice pass through. All of these features solve problems of sagging and thermal expansion, damage that can occur during every day operation and result in consistent treatment across the width of the fabric. All of this coupled to an intelligent operator interface with ethernet communication ability to pass data to the central control system. This innovative design provides a more consistent corona treatment, making it an ideal choice for corona-treating applications.

Blown Film system combines its leadership in technology with new levels of affordability. Easy to install, easy to use, and easy to thread up, this corona system is an ideal choice for corona treating applications.

The Sheet Treating corona system is available in power ratings from 500-5000 watts. It is a fully self-contained Uni-Dyne corona discharge system for treating individual sheets. It includes a speed-adjustable or fixed-speed drive system and is the latest in what has become a continuous flow of equipment innovations from Corotec Corporation. Feeders and stackers are also available for a complete production process.

HFT-S Series Power Supplies come in sizes from 1.0 to 50.0 kW. Our new 10 kW power supply is minimal and fits in a cabinet that used to hold our 1 kW power supply, which is ten times the power. Our smaller HFT Series units have many of the same features as our larger ones and deliver the same high-quality performance. These power supplies can deliver rated power to many different types widths and shapes of electrodes and different thicknesses and dielectric materials. Our Power Density Control System, which controls constant output watts per square inch of material, ensure accurate, consistent treatment regardless of web width, treatment levels, line speeds, or materials.

Foam Treaters help you quickly extrude foam while keeping the right amount of air in it. This is important because the conditions that create the foam can change during setup. Foam products typically require a specialized output transformer coupled to a special electrode to result in proper treatment of the material. Corotec has much experience at this application as well as a pilot line in our lab to test the foam materials that you need. You can choose a range of standard and custom corona treatment systems for your foam application.

Digital Printing includes machines that treat the paper with chemicals before printing. The Uni-Dyne systems as well as wide web systems are easy to install and use. They are perfect for digital printing applications. They provide good adhesion while also preventing delamination problems.

These corona systems offer many benefits over traditional corona treating equipment, including smaller footprints and lower operating costs.

An ozone generator is a device that creates ozone gas.

Ozone is a powerful oxidizing agent, often used for its ability to improve adhesion, disinfect surfaces as well as remove odors. According to the Globe News Wire., ozone generators are used in various industrial processes to improve product shelf life and minimize the risk of product contamination.

The LC Series Ozone Generators from Corotec produce ozone for use as a pre-treatment in extrusion coating and laminating applications. This process involves applying ozone to the web at the laminating or coating nip, which can dramatically increase bond strengths– doubling or tripling those experienced without ozone treatment.

The NoZone® ozone destruction system is an excellent choice for corona-treating applications as well as other applications that produce ozone gases because it uses an all-aluminum upright containment design. This allows the ozone to be destroyed without the catalyst being degraded or depleted.

These two products offer different options for corona treatment, so be sure to select the one best suited for your needs.

The Pulsed-Plasma System is a unique way to treat surfaces on medical and other devices.

This system improves how well the device attaches to something else. For example, it can be used to make the plastic hubs that hold hypodermic needles and dispensing nozzles stick better to each other. This system uses a unique method to treat the elements and can treat up to 20 parts per second, depending on what kind of part it is.

The Plasma-Jet® uses plasma discharge technology. This low temperature plasma discharge creates very little heat, which means you can use it to treat sensitive materials without causing distortion.

The Compact Plasma-Jet® is a new line of corona surface treatment systems that use plasma to treat 3D parts. The Discharge Head Design is more compact than other designs. This makes it possible to install and use it in more restricted environments.

The Portable Treating System is a self-contained and portable system that uses a corona discharge to treat the surface of materials.

The system includes automatic speed feedback to ensure proper treatment. The sheet feed and the roll drive can be controlled at different speeds. They also have a step-less control system so you can adjust it. Plus, they have reasonable web tension control so that the product will remain stable during the treatment process.

The Tabletop Uni-Dyne® System can process various materials in roll and sheet form. This machine is self-contained, with everything you need to use it. This includes a state-of-the-art power supply, separate motors for sheet feed and rewind control, and speed controls. You only need to provide input power and an ozone exhaust system.

Thanks to the integrated design, our Cup and Specialty Treating System may be purchased with virtually any degree of automation and sophistication you want. You can choose simple manual controls or a more integrated approach that interfaces with the machine PLC to monitor and control all system functions.

Corotec’s unwind and rewind stations are ideal for treating rolls of material off-line where they can be shelf stored until further production processing is needed. These system come in a variety of sizes and contain web-tension control as well as automatic power adjustment to maintain a consistent treatment levels into the material.0

In addition to our standard products, we also offer custom-designed solutions to meet the specific needs of our customers.

Versatile Electrode Designs. We design corona treating systems to meet your specific needs. We test your material in our lab so that we can recommend an electrode design that will give you the best performance.

Universal Electrode Switch. If you have Corotec’s corona treating equipment, you can easily switch between bare-roll and conventional treating. This unique Corotec innovation allows for no downtime for job changeovers.

S-Type Power Supply Series. This machine has a touch screen display that helps it connect with the production line. It also has data storage and communication abilities, which allows it to pass information back and forth with other machines in the plant.

Power Density Control System. This system makes it easy to change the widths and line speeds of materials while maintaining consistent treatment levels into the material without needing complex graphics or charts.

Corotec Corporation is committed to providing the highest quality corona treating equipment available. We hope this gives you a better understanding of corona treatment and the products we offer.
